On March 5th, the Shandong Province "Foreign Affairs Facilitates Enterprises, Smooth Overseas Travel" Supportive Action (Zibo First Stop) & 2026 Zibo Enterprise Overseas Service Exchange Fair was successfully held. This event was hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government and organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Zibo Municipal People's Government, with participation from 35 foreign-related service institutions and over 330 foreign-related enterprises. Li Hong, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government, Guo Qing, Deputy Mayor of Zibo Municipal People's Government, and the principal leaders of the Foreign Affairs Office of Zibo Municipal People's Governmente attended the event. In her address, Li Hong pointed out that "Foreign Affairs Facilitates Enterprises, Smooth Overseas Travel" is a service brand developed by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government, using foreign affairs services such as the APEC Business Travel Card as key entry points to address the difficulties and obstacles enterprises face in going global and to support enterprises in their overseas endeavors. She also announced the official launch of the "Foreign Affairs Facilitates Enterprises, Smooth Overseas Travel" Supportive Action. Guo Qing briefly introduced the economic and social development of Zibo. He noted that choosing Zibo as the first stop for this event fully reflects the recognition and support of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government for Zibo's work, bringing high-quality policy service resources to local enterprises and effectively promoting Zibo enterprises' international competition and cooperation. At the Exchange Fair, relevant municipal and provincial departments explained policies beneficial to enterprises, enterprises shared their overseas experiences, and foreign-related service institutions introduced overseas service offerings. The event also set up three sub-forums: "Entering Overseas Parks," "Entering the Middle East and Central Asia," and "Entering Southeast Asia," providing targeted answers to enterprises' questions about different target markets. An exhibition and consultation area was also established on-site, where participating enterprises engaged in one-on-one in-depth discussions with service institutions to explore cooperation needs. During their stay in Zibo, foreign-related service institutions visited relevant enterprises for on-site inspections, engaged in face-to-face exchanges, and discussed specific cooperation matters, aiming to transform service connections into tangible cooperation outcomes.
