On October 31, Zibo Foreign Affairs Office successfully held the on-site exchange meeting themed as "Foreign Affairs Services for Enterprises: Bridging International Students with Local Businesses". Vice Mayor Hu Xiaohong attended and delivered remarks. Principal officials of the Foreign Affairs Office, representatives from relevant universities and enterprises, as well as international students in Zibo—about 100 attendees in total—took part in the event. Hu Xiaohong said that she hopes the international students will take this opportunity to experience firsthand the unique appeal and competitive advantages of Zibo as well as identify the areas where their strengths align with the city’s development needs. She also encouraged local enterprises to draw on the students’ global perspectives and innovative thinking to inject new vitality into their own accelerated growth. Furthermore, she urged universities in Zibo to continue integrating with the city, expand international-student training, and strive for a win-win outcome in both talent development and institutional advancement. In the presence of the attendees, Shandong University of Technology and Shandong Xinma Pharmaceutical Equipment Co., Ltd. signed a letter of intent on the spot. Afterwards, enterprise representatives and international students engaged in substantive discussions on shared topics such as internships, job requirements and talent training, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. |
