为进一步加强与俄罗斯城市间友好交流，深化发展合作，经中国国际友好城市联合会和省外办（友协）推荐，10月30日，淄博市参加俄罗斯伏尔加格勒国际公共外交论坛圆桌会议，副市长毕红卫出席会议并作主题发言，市政府副秘书长王希森，市外办党组书记、主任路玉田等参加会议。

会上，毕红卫副市长介绍了淄博市的基本情况，回顾了淄博市与俄罗斯友好城市之间的交往历程和合作实践，对进一步深化与俄罗斯城市的长期友好关系，拓展双方在各领域的互惠合作提出愿景，赢得了与会中俄各城市代表的一致肯定和赞扬。

下一步，市外办将进一步深化与参会俄罗斯城市，特别是伏尔加格勒市的友好联系，探讨开展各领域务实合作，不断拓宽淄博市与俄罗斯城市间的交流渠道，为打造高水平开放型城市贡献外事力量。

国际公共外交论坛是由俄罗斯伏尔加格勒市政府主办，旨在扩大国际社会普遍联系的地区性论坛活动。自2014年起，论坛在每年世界城市日（10月31日）期间举行。本年度论坛圆桌会议由俄罗斯城市联盟和中国国际友好城市联合会协办，中俄双方共10个城市代表参加，会议主题是“俄罗斯与中国：城市间互动的新趋势和机遇”。

Zibo Participated in the Round Table of International Forum of People’s Diplomacy “Dialogue on the Volga”

     Zibo participated in the round table of the annual International Forum of People’s Diplomacy “Dialogue on the Volga: Peace and Mutual Understanding in the 21st Century” to further strengthen friendly exchanges and deepen development cooperation with Russian cities on Oct.30 by recommendation of China International Federation of Friendship Cities and Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Vice Mayor Bi Hongwei attended the meeting and delivered keynote address, Deputy Secretary-general of the municipal government Wang Xisen, Director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office Lu Yutian attended the meeting.

     During the meeting, Vice Mayor of Bi Hongwei gave a brief introduction of Zibo city, reviewed friendly exchanges and cooperation between Zibo and its two Russian friendship cities, and drew the blueprint for further long-term friendly relationship and bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in every field with the Russian cities, which won unanimous affirmation and praise from representatives of Chinese and Russian cities.

    International Forum of People’s Diplomacy is a regional forum organized by the Volgograd Municipal Government of Russia, aiming at expanding universal contacts in the international community. Since 2014, the forum has been held every year during World Cities Day (Oct.31). The Round Table of this year’s Forum was co-organized by the League of Russian Cities and China International Federation of Friendship Cities, with the theme of “Russia and China: New trends and Opportunities for Intermunicipal Interaction”. Representatives from 10 cities from China and Russia attended the meeting.
